The New York City Rent Guidelines Board is proud to offer the newest edition of our year-end publication, Housing NYC: Rents, Markets and Trends 2008. With the latest information on housing supply changes; tenant income and affordability; owner revenues and costs; economic trends; and multifamily mortgages, Housing NYC is a wide-ranging compendium of research on the state of the City’s rental market.

Housing NYC: Rents, Markets and Trends 2008 comprises all six of the Rent Guidelines Board studies released in 2008: the Price Index of Operating Costs; the Income and Expense Study; the Income and Affordability Study; the Housing Supply Report; the Mortgage Survey and the Changes to the Rent Stabilized Housing Stock in NYC in 2007 study. In addition, the book contains the 2008-09 apartment, loft and hotel guidelines adopted by the Board, a glossary of rent regulation terms and comprehensive data from the most recent NYC Housing and Vacancy Survey.
