NYC: Rents, Markets and Trends 2011 comprises
all six of the Rent Guidelines Board studies released
in 2011: the Price Index of Operating Costs; the Income
and Expense Study; the Income and Affordability Study;
the Housing Supply Report; the Mortgage Survey Report and the
Changes to the Rent Stabilized Housing Stock in NYC in
2010 study. In addition, the book contains the 2011-12
apartment, loft and hotel guidelines adopted by the Board,
a glossary of rent regulation terms and comprehensive
data from the most recent NYC Housing and Vacancy Survey.

The latest NYC Rent Guidelines Board renewal lease guidelines for rent stabilized apartments, lofts and hotels are effective October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012.
You

On March 24, 2011, the Court of Appeals reversed and dismissed the petitions challenging the minimum dollar increases under Rent Guidelines Board Orders 40 and 41. As a result of this decision, the minimum dollar increases adopted by the Rent Guidelines Board in Orders 40 and 41 are valid and in effect for leases covered by those orders. A copy of this decision is available on the Court of Appeals website (in pdf format).
